I've often sought Dori's advice in regards to church work. He has an excellent grasp on how relational systems like churches work.

Dori has been a great mentor that has helped me transition from serving youth, to an associate, to an

"Transition is a season in the life of a congregation and in the lives of pastors that is fraught with opportunities and perils.  Sometimes transition is forced upon congregations and pastors by unplanned and unforeseen events.  To have direction and expertise in such a time could be critical and invaluable to the future of a church and ministry.  Other times transition can be foreseen and planned for, in which case coaching and expertise can help both pastors, leaders and congregations begin to work through the ending of one season and planning and preparing for the season to come."

Rev Walter B Arnold, retired pastor of First Presbyterian Church in North Palm Beach, FL

"The role of an incoming pastor, whether transitional or new, can be fraught with dangers. Congregational expectations, strategies that have been tried before and didn’t work, staffing issues and more. It’s no wonder that a vast majority of new pastors who follow a pastor of long tenure fail within two years. In such a situation a trusted guide is an essential resource. As we (myself and Mike Kenyon) took on the role of Co-Transitional Pastors at Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Santa Ana, we had no idea of the exact difficulties we would face but we knew we would need help beyond the basic Transitional Pastor training we had received. Bill’s wisdom, vast experience, expertise, counsel and honestly, friendship, were so valuable to us on this journey. He saved us from mistakes, gave us the courage to act when we needed to, and helped us transition to the next pastor in a healthy way. I recommend his services wholeheartedly."

"I was humbled and honored to be selected to our church's pastoral search committee after losing our nearly 30 year pastor.  I had not been aware of the complexities and nuance involved in the process.
Thankfully, our elders made the decision to hire KNOT Navigators prior to the process beginning.  Bill and Dori were instrumental to the success of our search committee's work.  Whether it be their thorough screening process or meeting with us weekly to discuss various intricacies of the discernment process and thoughtfully answering our questions, KNOT was ready and willing to guide us. Their wisdom and experience in this process were truly a blessing to our team! I would recommend them to any church entering a pastoral search phase, it is too important of a decision not to have their expertise guiding your team!"

"I recently had the privilege of serving on the Pastor Nomination Committee (PNC) for our local church (Threshold Church (EPC), in Weddington, NC.  I also have the privilege of serving as a Ruling Elder at Threshold. As we considered how to approach the process of discerning God’s call for a new pastor, we became aware of a new organization, Knot Navigators. The mission of Knot Navigators is to provide churches in transition with assistance in searching for a new pastor.  I have one vital message to relay after working with Knot Navigators through our search process. “Thank you God for sending Knot Navigators to guide and assist us!” Pastors Bill Enns and Dori Little have such a wealth of experience as pastors. They assisted the PNC in every aspect of the Pastoral search including: Assisting in all the pre-search work that needs to be done prior to engaging in the actual search process, the vetting and interviewing of candidates, and providing guidance in development of the financial/benefits package as part of the “Terms of the Call” document. Knot Navigators continued to assist the PNC, after the Call was accepted, in the planning of the Installation of our new Pastor. In summary, Knot Navigators assisted us in every aspect of the Pastoral Search process. We could not be more pleased with all of our interactions with Knott Navigators. We truly believe that our Lord sent Knot Navigators our way as a manifestation of his steadfast love for our church. I would be happy to talk with anyone interested in finding out more details about our experience with Knot Navigators."
